Next Upcoming Events on Wednesday, 04-24-2024 The Annual Elections Meeting will be held at 6:00 PM at the VFW. The menu will consist of Beef on Weck and side dishes. Dessert, beverages and tip will be included in the price of $17.00. This is a generous offer considering the prices charged at restaurants. Upcoming Events on Saturday and Sunday, 04-27 and 28-2024 Franklinville will once again host The Maple Festival. The main event for IVHS at the Maple Festival will be a quilt raffle. Suzanne Linderman has donated a beautiful queen-sized quilt that she designed and made. The winner will be chosen at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 28th, 2024. Tickets cost one for $5.00 and 3 for $10.00. The Ischua Valley
Historical Society (IVHS) was founded in 1966.
We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization operated by a few part-time volunteers. The Ischua Valley Historical Society, housed at the Miner's Cabin, is located at 9 Pine Street in Franklinville, New York. We will be open on Sundays by appointment only during the months of June, July and August. Please contact us to make arrangements. We are available by appointment for tours, as well as genealogical and historical research. If you are traveling to the area, please call (716) 353-0290 to make arrangements before you arrive to ensure that someone will be available to open the facility and assist you. We are closed for winter during the months of December, January, February, March, and April. |
